Life Shifting Learning Academy ( Private School) is Hiring a 1st Grade Teacher Near Pensacola, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in grades 1st.

You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with other educators to ensure student success.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to engage students in active learning
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, tests, and assignments
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians on academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Foster a love of reading by promoting literacy education and utilizing the school library services
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, upcoming events, and classroom activities
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in Florida
- Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Proficient in using learning technology tools to enhance instruction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, parents/guardians, and community members
- Knowledge of education administration policies and procedures
